Today
I bought four big pots (29 liter) for my carrots and my leek. They might be a little too big but the ones I wanted were sold out so it was either small or bigger and I went with bigger. I bought some paprika (bell pepper) and chili. I was also looking for a bird bath but Jesus how expensive they were! So instead of buying a pretty ugly expensive thingy I went with a cheap saucer for flowerpots, I don’t think the birds will mind the low budget version.

I need to buy a pot for my carrots and leeks this week too, as well as some potting mix with compost. It's so hard to do this kind of shopping, though, when you're trying to do it during work hours. I dont have the car during the day, and it's a bit too much to carry from the shop back to work. Pity Quorn doesnt have a garden centre. :(

Oh maybe you can open the first garden center in Quorn? Sorcha Plants, or perhaps Sorcha Gairdín if we want to sound a little exotic :p
Yes, carrying pots and compost would be too much... Maybe Sorcha Gairdín will have home delivery?
